Grosset and Dunlap only published one Mayne Reid title. The Rifle Rangers. It was a reprint. Cloth binding. 12 mo.
In 1906 Grosset and Dunlap announced that it had come to an
agreement with Charles Scribner’s Sons to publish the books of the
Popular Series for Young People with new covers for the very affordable
price of 75 cents each. The 1906 list included 25 titles.
Although the exact date is unknown, it appears that Mayne Reid’s Rifle
Rangers was added to the series between 1906 and 1910. Grossed and
Dunlap was at the Duane Street address between the time it started this
