Each book cost $1.25 and was noted as a “Nimrod Edition”. 7.75” x
5.5"
All three books are part of Putnam’s Knickerbocker Series for Young
Readers. This series which had more than 40 titles ran from the
1890’s into the 1910’s. The format shown just below was used at one
point for all the titles (not just the Mayne Reid books).

It is unclear whether the Knickerbocker Series also used the format
for the Bush Boys’ that is shown below or not. This may be a non
series publication.

Chelsea Series
It is unclear when this series was published. I would estimate the
the early 1900's to maybe as late as the teens. The almost 30 titles
that make up the series are adventure type books for boys., All
three of the Mayne Reid books noted above were part of the series.
I do not know if there are any other formats for this series.
Interestingly, the preface notes that this is the "Nimrod Edition".
Thus this book uses the same preface as the earlier Knickerbocker
Series Mayne Reid's did. As can be seen however, this book does not
note "Nimrod Edition" on its title page as the other books above do.
